Certified FFP3 particle filtering half mask providing successful protection against PM2.5 and PM10 dust contained in the so-called smog

FFP3 CLASS – 20 x TLV

MB 30 V FFP3 NR D disposable filtering half mask is a complete respiratory protective device used for protection against aerosols of solid and liquid particles. Particle filtering half masks are designed for respiratory protection against aerosols of solid particles or water-based aerosols (dust, smoke) and liquid aerosols (mist), provided that the dispersed-phase concentration of these aerosols in air does not exceed 20 x TLV. The half mask is easy to adjust to the shape of the face and remains comfortable throughout prolonged use.

The half mask has a foam face seal for improved filtration efficiency and comfort of use.

The half mask has been tested by the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB) for penetration by dust contained in the so-called smog: PM1, PM2.5, PM4 and PM10.

Average filtration efficiency:

  • PM1 - 98,80%
  • PM2.5 - 98,86%
  • PM4 - 98,89%
  • PM10 - 98,89%

Advantages:

The half mask is perfect for everyday use – it is light, easy to fit and does not cause irritation during prolonged use. It may also be used by children because the additional seal guarantees tight adherence of the mask regardless of the shape and size of the face. The facepiece of the half mask has a nose clip, exhalation valve and two non-adjustable head harnesses made from synthetic rubber bands. The exhalation valve reduces carbon dioxide concentration and moisture inside the facepiece and exhalation resistance.

The particle filtering half mask conforms to the following:

  • EN 149:2001+A1:2009, “Respiratory protective devices – Filtering half masks to protect against particles – Requirements, testing, marking”
  • Directive 89/686/EEC
  • CE 1437
  • Certificate: WE/S/2700/2017

Caution!

For many years, smog has been a major hazard to the heath of people living in large cities. Most of the “anti-smog” half masks offered by the competition are hygiene masks. They are not special-purpose masks, they do not conform to the standards for filtration efficiency, and, consequently, they frequently do not guarantee protection against the hazard.

Application:

The half mask protects the respiratory system against smog, which is emitted primarily by inefficient coal combustion and diesel and petrol exhaust.

The half mask also conforms to FFP3 requirements and can be used for the following purposes:

Respiratory protection against high concentration of respirable dust – welding and soldering, tanning, galvanising, work with asbestos and metal oxide smoke (zinc, lead, arsenic, vanadium silver) emitted during metal melting, casting or treatment.

Protection against dust containing: beryllium, antimony, cadmium, cobalt, nickel, radium, strychnine, pharmaceutical dust and mist, radioactive particles, bacteria and most viruses.
